Patna, January 23, 2013: Sanil Jagtaini of Bengal upset
first leg champion Shree Krishna of Bihar 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 in the boys’ U-18
singles quarterfinal of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) Talent Series
Second Leg Tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Wednesday.
Joining Sanil in the semifinals, the other three were Allen
Johnson Koundon of Kerala, Parikshit Somani of Assam and Arnav Alok Goel of Uttar
Pradesh.
Allen Johnson Koundon beat Azad Singh (Haryana) 6-1, 6-2
while Parikshit Somani beat Mohit Dahiya (Delhi )
6-3, 6-3. Arnav Alok Goel thrashed Ankit Anand 6-1, 6-2.
