Devpriya storms into quarterfinals

Patna, October 5, 2010: Devpriya Jaiswal of Bihar continued his upward march in the boys’ under-16 singles event of the AITA ranking tournament at the Patliputra Colony tennis court here on Tuesday. In a pre-quarterfinal match, Devpriya demolished Dharmendra Singh of Bihar 6-0, 6-0.

Shree Krishna, Anish Anupam and Adamya Vikrant (all from Bihar) also entered the quarterfinals. Ritwik Bhriguvanshi (Bihar), Parikshit Somani (Assam), Sanchit Sikka (UP) and Abhimanyu Rozra (Haryana) made it to the last eight stage in the boys’ under-12 singles.
