Indian hockey team for Azlan Shah Cup named


New Delhi, February 6, 2013: Hockey India announced its senior men team for the 22nd Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Invitational Tournament to be played in Malaysia from March 6 to 17, 2013.

Hockey India selector Syed Ali, chief coach Michael Nobbs and exercise physiologist Jason Konrath along with government observer Harbinder Singh selected the list of 18 players with 8 standbys on the basis of their recent performance in the ongoing inaugural season of Hero Hockey India League.

The 18 member squad will be captained by forward Danish Mujtaba while goalkeeper PR Sreejesh will be the vice-captain.
