Six players share lead in Chess For Peace

Patna, December 21, 2013: Six players shared the lead with 3 points after the end of as many rounds in the Chess For Peace U-14 Tournament at the Sambodhi Public School here on Saturday.

Twenty other players were in the joint second spot with 2 points each.

Kushagra Divaym, SH Mussa, Janamejay, Sahil Suman, Shivang Aryan and Tanul Tanay collected full points winning their third round match. They all have 3 points to their credits.

Chess for Peace begins

Patna, December 20, 2013: Chess for Peace U-14 Tournament began at the Sambodhi Public School hall (SK Puri) here on Friday. School principal SK Choudhary inaugurated the meet.

On the opening day all leading players won their first round matches without facing many difficulties.

Patna, December 17, 2013: The 11^th edition of Chess For Peace Under-14 Championship will be held at Sambodhi Public School here  from December 20 to 22. 

The tournament will be orgnaised jointly by Patna Chess Academy and Bihar Chess Academy.

According to Rakesh Ranjan, secretary, Patna chess Academy and Bihar Chess Academy, top six finishers will get prizes. Other special prize will given to best under-8, best under-10, best under-12 in boys and girls categories.
