Patna, July 2, 2022: Bihar Juggernaut rolled on as the state team move into the final of National U-17 Women's Football Championships defeating Haryana 3-1 in Guwahati on Saturday
Now, Bihar will play the winners of Arunachal Pradesh and
Dadra Nagar Haveli match in the final.
Shruti Kumar opened the account for Bihar in the third
minute of the game (1-0). Saniya of Haryana netted the equaliser in the 16 the
minute (1-1). Sabara Khatun put Bihar into the lead in the 21st minute through
a nice looking goal (2-1). Bihar were leading 2-1 in the first half.
The second half saw tough fight between the two teams as
both the teams made several attempts on the opposition posts. Lucky Kumari
swelled the victory margin for Bihar in the 79th minute (3-1). Later, Lucky was
adjudged player of the match.
