8-member Bihar team for Gymkhana Classic Squash

Patna, April 16, 2017: Bihar State Squash Racket Association on Sunday announced the state teams for Gymkhana Classic Championships to be held in New Delhi from April 20 to 25.

Team (men): Shyam Kumar Jha, Aditya Raj.
U-17 (boys): Prakash Kumar.
Women: Sunny Mehta, Soni Kumari, Manisha, Puja Dubey and Puja Kumari.
Coach: Avinash Kumar

Bihar squash teams for Junior National announced

Patna, October 23, 2010: A 34-member Bihar team will take part in the junior, sub-junior National squash championships to be held in Chennai from October 29, according to Kaushal Kishore Singh, secretary, All Bihar State Squash Racket Association.

Teams: Boys’: Aditya Raj, Runvijay, Rajiv Ranjan Sinha, Mihir Kumar, Shahrukh Ali, Samsul Arfin, Shivamkant, SN Saquib, Subodh Jaiswal, Shashi Shekhar, Keshav Chandra, Alok Mani, Alok Raj, Sandeep Bhargav, Ramesh Chandra, Ashutosh Prakash and Deepak Kumar.

Girls: Jyoti Singh, Anupam Kumari, Soni Kumari, Heena Perveen, Ayasha Aham, Amrita, Vishakha, Antra, Ayasha, Pooja Kumari, Shrushti, Aprajita Kumari, Bhavna Bharti, Priti Kumari, Arpna Singh,Abhipriya, Ankita Kumari and Abhipriya.

Bihar junior squash team named

Patna, October 19, 2009:
Bihar Squash Racquet Association on Monday announced state team for the National junior championships to be held at Indore from October 21 to 25.

Teams:
Boys’ under-17: Aditya Raj, Ranvijay, Shreshta Bhargav and Rohit Kumar.
U-15 boys: Shivam Kant, Siddarth Kishore, Rahul Kumar, SM Saquib and Md Sabsul Arfin.
Girls U-19: Jyoti Singh, Hina Parween, Soni Kumari and Anupam Kumari.

Aditya claims Bihar U-19 squash title

Patna, September 20, 2009
Aditya Raj won the Bihar state boys’ under-19 squash title outplaying Ranvijay 11-5, 11-3 in a one-sided final at the Bankipore Club here on Sunday.

Shresth Bhargav got the third position in the same group.

Jyoti Singh clinched the girls’ under-19 title beating Aisha 11-5, 11-6, 12-10 in a three-set thriller.
SM Shaquib claimed the boys’ under-15 title defeating Shivamkant 11-5, 5-11, 11-5 in the final. Gaurav Agrawal earned the third place in the same group.

Rajesh Bhushan, secretary, PRD, Bihar, distributed the prizes. Anil Sulabh, chief-patron, All Bihar State Squash Racket Association, proposed a vote of thanks.

Earlier on Saturday, Adarsh, Rahul, SM Shaquib, Gaurav and Samsul entered the thirdround winning their respective matches easily in the boys’ under-15 section.

In the girls’ under-19, Soni defeated Abhipriya 11-3, 11-4, 11-1 and Jyoti recorded victory over Annu 11-3, 11-1, 11-2. Aditya, Sanjeev, Vishal and Ravi won their matches in the boys’ under-19 group.
