KP Agrawal Memorial Bridge Tournament on September 6

Patna, September 5, 2015: KP Agrawal Memorial Open Prize-Money Pair Bridge Championships will be held on September 6 at the New Patna Club hall here, according to Bihar Bridge Association vice president-cum-organising president of the tournament Kamaleshwar Singh.

He said that top six finishers of the tournament would get cash prizes.

He also appointed Jaiswar Kumar as the tournament director.

Singh said top players of the state including SM Moin, Dr DK Choudhary, Navin Kumar, Girish Kumar, UN Panjiar, RVK Singh, Ratnesh Kumar and Ajoy Kumar Singh would participate in the meet.

DK Choudhary’s team bags Bihar bridge title

Patna, November 14, 2011: Dr DK Choudhary’s team clinched the Bihar state bridge championships title beating MMP Sinha’s team by 21 points at the New Patna Club here on Sunday.

Choudhary’s team gathered 48 points while Sinha’s team got 27 points.

In the pairs’ event, the pair of S Bannerjee and VP Divar got 376 points to take the top position. The pair of G Bannerjee and J Sarkar was adjudged runner-up with 374 points.

In progressive team event G Bannerjee’s team won the first position with 123 points while DK Choudhary’s team finished second with 120 points. Bardhaman’s team captured the third palce with 117 points.

Bihar Bridge Association president Amitabh Verma gave away the prizes.

Amitabh Verma elected as Bihar Bridge Association president

Pana, May 19, 2010: Amitabh Verma, IAS, has been elected president of the Bihar Bridge Association (BBA) in the general body meeting of the association here on Sunday. Dilip Sengupta and Kamlesh Singh have been elected secretary and treasurer respectively.

Manoranjan Prasad, working president of the association presided over the meeting.

Other office-bearers: UN Panjiyar, IAS, Dr DK Choudhary and BK Jamuar (all patrons), Prof SK Prasun, Prof AK Gupta and Dr JP Dingh (all vice-presidents), SM Moin (Master joint-secretary), Birendra Kumar (Media secretary), Ratnesh, M Manu, Ravindra Kumar Singh and Dr DN Mallick (all joint-secretaries), Rahul Singh, IAS, Anand Kishore, IAS,HK Sharan, AP Das and Amaresh Kumar (all members).

Choudhary-Moin wins Open pair bridge title

Patna, September 7, 2009:
The pair of DK Choudhary and SM Moin won the Madan Mohan Prasad memorial open pair bridge title with 256 points to their credit at the Mahalekhakar Bhawan here.

The combination of VNP Sah and SK Sinha with 235 points got the second position. The pair of SP Sinha and J Kumar with 232 points bagged the third spot while the duo of R Kumar and Ravindra Kumar with 231 points grabbed fourth position.

Earlier, IDS Dhariwal, Accountant General (Bihar) inaugurated the tournament. Pravin Kumar, Senior Deputy Accountant General, welcomed the guests. Arun Kumar Singh, Chief Accountant General, Bihar, distributed the prizes.
