27th All India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket begins in Patna

Patna, November 6, 2011: The 27^th All India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament got off to a colourful start at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.

Bihar Road Construction Department secretary Pratyay Amrit inaugurated the tournament. Senior resident editor of the Hindustan Times, Patna edition, Mammen Matthew was the guest of the honour in the opening function.

An exhibition match between BP Sinha Foundation and Punjabi Bradari was played to mark the occasion. BP Sinha Foundation beat Punjabi Bradari by four wickets.

Students of different schools presented attractive cultural programme in the opening function.

Organising secretary Vijay Kumar Narain “Chunnu” welcomed the guests.
