DAV School Board Colony earn a grand double in Patna district badminton

Patna, February 3, 2011: DAV Public School, BSEB Colony earned a grand double winning the senior and junior boys’ team titles of the Patna district inter-school badminton championships at the Secretariat badminton hall here on Thursday.

DAV School senior boys thrashed Patna High School 2-0 in the final. Subham (DAV) outsmarted Anubhav 21-11, 21-6 while the pair of Shubham and Kundan of DAV School bounced back to beat Anubhav and Akash of Patna High School 18-21, 21-17, 21-14 in the final.

In the junior boys’ final, DAV outplayed Delhi Public School Patna 2-0. Kunal of DAV defeated Shantanu 21-6, 21-5 while the combination of Kunal and Akashdeep of DAV swamped Yash and Prabhakar of Delhi Public School 21-9, 21-11.
