Muzaffarpur win Hayman Trophy
Using the strip first, Siwan collected 124 runs all out off 35 overs while Muzaffarpur reached the target losing six wickets off 26 overs.
Siwan lost their five wickets for just 50 runs on the board. The ninth wicket partnership between Asif Javed and Sahir Sunny provided some respectability adding 38 runs. Asif Asif Javed remained unbeaten on 28 runs. Ranjan Kumar took three wickets for 23 runs.
Nishant Kumar of Muzaffarpur got the man of the tournament award while Sankalp Saurav (also from Muzaffarpur) was adjudged man of the match.
In reply, Muzaffarpur achieved the target off 26 overs losing six wickets.

All-India volleyball tournament begins
In the opening match of the evening, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) beat Combined Army 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.
Eight teams in men’s section and four in women section have been playing in the tournament.
Earlier, Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha inaugurated the tournament in a colourful opening function. Dr RN Singh, president of the Dr Shiv Narayan Singh Sports Foundation presided over the function.
