Kothajit Singh completes his 100th international match

Bhubaneswar, May 3, 2015: On the opening day of the India- Japan Series Indian defender Kothajit Singh marked his 100th international match. Since his debut, Kothajit because of his skills as a defender has contributed through his outstanding performance on the field in every match that he has played. 

Kothajit Singh made his debut in the year 2012 and is regarded as a crucial player in the defence line within the team.

Congratulating Kothajit Singh on his achievement, Hockey India’s President Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra said, “Hockey India is extremely delighted for Kothajit’s achievement of 100 international matches. The defender has been an integral part of Indian team and Hockey India takes utmost pride in congratulating him on his accomplishment of 100 International Caps.”
