Vijender Singh meets Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar



New Delhi, November 16, 2015: After turning professional Boxer Vijender Singh who is on a vacation to India with his family, today met Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi.

During this meeting Mr. Khattar congratulated Vijender Singh for two consecutive wins in his professional career and assured him full support for future.

Mr. Khattar also discussed with Vijender Singh about the plans of his government for the further development of sports in the state and boxer extends his full support to the Chief Minister for the same.  

Vijender Singh said “I am pleased to meet our Chief Minister and thanked him for extending his full support in the debut of my professional career. Mr. Khattar very happy with my performance and he congratulated me for two back to back wins. I am happy that our Chief Minister is following my professional fights very closely”.

“During this meeting Mr. Khattar discussed with me about the future of boxing in our country and the development of sports in our state. As we all know that Haryana has produced many international star players in different sports in the last few years, so I want this to continue in future also and I extend my full support to Mr. Khattar for the development and promotion of sports in Haryana” further added Vijender.
