Keeping up their high spirits the team is brushing up their proficiency focussing heavily on their new modules to take the game a notch higher.

As the other teams are practicing hard for the league, the Indian players are also spending more time on fitness sessions without any fail.

Commenting on the preparations, Hockey India High Performance Director Roelant Oltmans said, “There are only physical differences if we compare the men's and the women's team. These girls are really eager to learn and I can see the progress. We are aiming at getting amongst the top two in order to clear for the next round. The recently concluded Spain tour has really helped the girls in preparing and improving and it is a good test to show the capacity of the girls. The team is well in shape and ready for the challenge.”
