New Delhi,
January 29, 2015: The Disciplinary Committee of the Hero Hockey India
League last night met to discuss the conduct of Mark Knowles during a
match played on 26th January 2015 between Jaypee Punjab Warriors and
Uttar Pradesh Wizards and found him to have breached the HHIL Code of
Conduct. He was found using abusive language against the opponent player
and the same was found in video and audio recording and even acknowledged
by Mark. This results in Mark getting one match suspension and will
have to sit out of the match against Delhi Waveriders.
