Patna, May 10, 2010: Jamui edged out Patna by one wicket in the Randhir Verma memorial under-19 inter-district cricket tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Monday.
Batting first, Patna made 212 for six wickets off 30 overs. In reply, Jamui reached the target losing nine wickets off 29.5 overs.
In the second match at played at Bihta, Arwal defeated Bhagalpur by the spin of coin as their match ended in a tie. Batting first, Arwal scored 175 runs in 28.2 overs. In reply, Bhagalpur too made 175 runs in 30 overs.
The match was decided by toss in which Arwal captain called it correctly.
